Plants at April 23rd, 2025

The seedlings have all been up-potted to 5" plugs, hardened off and each plug labeled with laser printed tags. Fertilized today. Now we are just waiting another 10 days for the plants to get some additional growth. When you pick up the individual plants I will remove them from the tray and wrap them in deli style wax paper sheets. Never heard of anyone doing this. Hopefully it works! The benefits to plugs are many. The plugs are a more efficient use of soil and are easier for you to plant. The 50 unit trays are much easier for me to move around compared to hundreds of 5" red pots. I can water from the top and from the tray, making the plants less likely to dry out. No plastic to consumer!
