I have made a plant reference website based on public, but hard to find information from disparate sources. How it works is you type into the box your zip code and any requirements (if any) for the site you are planning for and then hit Enter. But you don't have to use this just for site planning. There are many ways to use it just for your own learning. For example, milkweed is a common topic of interest. You can ask the site "show me all the milkweed family in 11201" Click on the pictures for a slide show. Find seed sources, Find out about the associated fauna. All with a single click. Feel free to play around with it and let me know any feedback. It's really easy to use and anonymous. I do review people's searches to make sure it's giving good results. If you ask it something silly, it will tell you it can't help with that. The underlying database is worldwide although the U.S. data is the most complete at this time. I used the site to assist with the plant list I am selling this year which includes plants I had never heard of before. Enjoy! https://nativeplants.info
