"Protect our native plants" sign made from an extra long bamboo stake and two 3x5 cards.  This is varnished inside and out so should last the full season or maybe longer.   By next year, your plants will be much larger and be more resilient.  The sign indicates to people that these plants are not weeds and will help protect your plants from all kinds of negative outcomes.  If put in a public place, please dispose of it properly once it is no longer attractive.
